- Read or act on the Aura information covered by the permissions you approve.

- Your Aura role, client permissions, and approved access still apply. The assistant’s own plan and workspace rules also apply.
Connect step by step
You’ll need
- An Aura account and access to custom connectors in Claude.
Copy your Aura address
In Aura, open Connectors → Use Aura in other AI assistants. Copy Your connector address.
Add Aura
Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. Enter the Aura connector address. In managed workspaces, an owner may need to add it in Organization settings first. Use the sign-in flow; if asked to choose an OAuth client, automatic registration is supported by Aura.
Approve access
Sign in to Aura when prompted. Review the requested permissions and approve only the access you intend to grant.
Use it in a conversation
Enable Aura for the conversation in your assistant and try a read-only request.
Check it works
Ask the assistant to use Aura to read your profile. Confirm the information belongs to the expected Aura account.
This guide does not run a test or change your account. Use the connection screen or the suggested request to check access.

Replace bracketed details with your own. Copying an example does not submit it.

If something gets stuck
I cannot add a custom connector
Check the assistant’s current setup guide below and your workspace policy. Your administrator may need to enable it.
The assistant cannot see my Aura data
Check that Aura is enabled for this conversation and that you approved the relevant permission. Reconnect if access was revoked.
Aura says I’m out of AI credits
Open Account & billing to check your balance and reset. If a task stopped, review completed actions before retrying. Provider limits or paid provider credits are separate from Aura’s balance.
Administrator setup is required
Contact Aura support with the service name. Re-entering your credentials will not fix a service that is unavailable on Aura.
Remove access
Revoke this assistant’s grant under Aura’s AI assistant connections, and remove Aura from Claude if no longer wanted.
