Know before you start
- Generations use your provider’s API credits. Saving credentials does not verify a paid generation.
- Use generic practice imagery; do not include identifiable client health information.
Connect step by step
You’ll need
- A Higgsfield API account with available API credits and a key ID plus key secret.
Get API credentials
Open the Higgsfield API platform from the provider link below. Create or locate your API key ID and secret.
Save securely
In Aura’s Higgsfield connection, enter key_id:key_secret in the secure field. Keep both parts private.
Approve a generation
Enable confirmed writes when ready. Ask for an image, review the prompt and credit use, then explicitly confirm the generation.
Check it works
Credentials saved means stored, not a completed test. If you have a previous request ID, ask Aura to check its status. A new generation may incur a charge.
This guide does not run a test or change your account. Use the connection screen or the suggested request to check access.
Try a first task
Replace bracketed details with your own. Copying an example does not submit it.
Prepare an image prompt for a calm, sunlit wellness studio with no people. Wait for my approval before generating.
If something gets stuck
Credentials saved, but generation fails
Check the key ID/secret format and your Higgsfield API balance. Provider API credits can differ from website subscription access.
A generation timed out
Check the existing request status before creating another generation; the first request may still be processing or charged.
Aura says I’m out of AI credits
Open Account & billing to check your balance and reset. If a task stopped, review completed actions before retrying. Provider limits or paid provider credits are separate from Aura’s balance.
Administrator setup is required
Contact Aura support with the service name. Re-entering your credentials will not fix a service that is unavailable on Aura.
Remove access
Disconnect Higgsfield in Aura and revoke the API key at the provider if no longer needed. This does not cancel a generation already submitted.
