What you can do
- Search connected Notion pages.
- Create a page under a selected parent after confirming a write.
Know before you start
- A connection cannot see every page just because its token is valid. Share the pages it needs.
Connect step by step
You’ll need
- Access to create an internal connection in the correct Notion workspace.
Create a Notion connection
Use Notion’s internal connection setup. Choose the workspace and grant read content capability. Add insert content capability only if you intend to create pages.
Share the destination pages
In Notion, open each relevant page and add the connection through its Connections menu, or configure content access in the connection settings.
Save the token
In Aura, open Connectors → Notion → Connect. Paste the internal connection token into the secure field. Save with writes off unless you need confirmed page creation.
Check it works
Ask Aura to search Notion for a page title you shared. Confirm the returned page before requesting changes.
This guide does not run a test or change your account. Use the connection screen or the suggested request to check access.
Try a first task
Replace bracketed details with your own. Copying an example does not submit it.
Find my connected Notion page called [page title]. Do not edit anything.
If something gets stuck
Search returns nothing
Check the workspace, exact page title, and page sharing with this connection.
Creating a page is denied
Check Notion insert-content capability, parent-page access, and Enable confirmed writes in Aura.
Aura says I’m out of AI credits
Open Account & billing to check your balance and reset. If a task stopped, review completed actions before retrying. Provider limits or paid provider credits are separate from Aura’s balance.
Administrator setup is required
Contact Aura support with the service name. Re-entering your credentials will not fix a service that is unavailable on Aura.
Remove access
Disconnect Notion in Aura. Remove its page access or revoke its token in Notion when no longer needed. Previously created pages remain in Notion.
